On paper the GBX45 is the GB40 moved up a notch: 250 more peak amps, half a liter more gas engine, a full liter more diesel (4.0 against 3.0), and 31 Wh against 24.
The bigger practical change is charging. NOCO lists USB-C input up to 20 volts at 3 amps, and the same port can output up to 20 V at 3 A, which is 60 W, to other USB-C devices.
It weighs 2.16 lb on NOCO's spec page, lighter than the GB40's listed 2.45 lb.
