TrueAmps exists because the numbers on jump starter boxes are hard to compare. Peak amps climb every year, and listing titles advertise figures that no published standard stands behind.

So we do the dull part. We read the manufacturer's spec page, find the product in the public safety directory, and put the two side by side with the date we looked. When they disagree, you see both.
