The rating that changed
Search results for the GB150 still carry "4,000A" in headlines and comparison tables. NOCO's own spec page and the Amazon listing title both say 3,000 A as of September 24, 2026. We do not know when the rating changed or why, and we are not going to guess.
What matters for a buyer is the engine rating, and it is plain: 9.0 L gas, 7.0 L diesel.
Size is the trade-off. At 6.39 lb and 12.4 inches wide, the GB150 is a truck-cab or garage tool rather than a glovebox one.
